The Apache Lounge distribution of 2.2.10 is available on our download page. We are running it already for a few days, no issues seen and all modules on the downloadpage are working.

Apache 2.2.10 is a minor upgrade. Most of work is done on the proxy side of things.

On request you can get the IPV6 version.

Enjoy,

Steffen

I noticed the readme.txt still points to the old version of the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package. SP1 has since come out, so I'm sure they've made some fixes and improvements with it. I have SP1 of the redistributable installed and Apache is working fine.

the vs2008 sp1 have a bug, generates manifests with the wrong version number

Recently, I read an article in msdn Redistributing an Application and Binding It to Specific Libraries, then found that the manifest version is not a bug~.

You can also just install the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 without Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Packageuse.

I'm running Steffen's Apache Lounge distributions on Server2008 x64 without Visual C++ 2008 and so far so good. Cool I think it's also a alternative. Very Happy

Thanks for posting the bug with SP1. As I said before, I have it installed with the Apache Lounge version of Apache and I've seen no problems.

muerte, I'm glad to hear you are running server 08 x64 with Apache. I'm thinking about moving to Server 2008 very soon.
