Although I have "LoadModule deflate_module modules/mod_deflate.so" line added the next: "AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/atom+xml application/ecmascript application/javascript application/rtf application/xhtml+xml application/xml text/html text/plain text/css text/csv" causes "The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> Invalid command 'AddOutputFilterByType', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration ." in Event Viewer so kind of conclude that AddOutputFilterByType directive is no longer supported and there must be other ways to have similar behavior

Maybe you need mod_filter, see:

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.3/mod/mod_filter.html#addoutputfilterbytype

Indeed mod_filter is also required in 2.4, although in 2.2 was not the case.
Many, many thanks!
