Bump.
This issue can be reproduced at 2008 standard server with sp2.You can reproduce this by way of restart command 30 times repeated.
I make a new installation.But in vain...
The disgusting apache restart faulting error. |

I could probably make any service break restarting it 30 times consecutively. I wouldn't call that anything close to normal use.
How did mod_fcgid 2.3.6d work for you? If it worked fine, maybe you should go back to it. |

There is no "mod_fcgid 2.3.6d" for apache2.4 available.
And,it's so strange, this issue occurs when apache start after apache stop command sometimes. |

No, I try to make no assumptions other than you ran 32bit so I built a 32 bit 2.3.6d for you to play with. |

What do you mean it's not for thread safe php, I use nothing but thread safe php since I have had the best luck with it.

It shows error: Code: | [Sun Sep 09 04:55:57 2012] [crit] Apache is running a threaded MPM, but your PHP
Module is not compiled to be threadsafe. You need to recompile PHP.Pre-configuration failed |
My php is 5.2.17
I can't upgrade that because of some php scripts. |

This is talking about phpapache2_?.dll (php module), not mod_fcgid. |

I don't change the httpd.conf setting.I just replace the mod_2.3.7.so to mod_fcgid2.3.6d.
It's strange,it can run now.
But,that disgusting restart error appears again.
I use apache for 5 years. But,I have an idea to change to nginx. Though, apache has much more resources than it.And,I like apache so much...What a pity. |

Does apache2.4.3 have well support to multi-cpu process ?I move the non-error issue os to another machine, the disgusting restart issue appears again.
The differences between two machines are 4 cores and 8 cores.8 cores is ok,but 4 cores is not ok. :)so strange... |

AFAIK apache can run on max 2 CPUs.
With your multiple instances. Did you check in the windows service if there are multiple services installed? |

I throw out windows 2003 standard server 32bit today.What a happy day. It's a bad one what I installed?
It can't provide good support for apache2.4.x It nearly burns out my CPU,the httpd.exe cpu usage was up to 99% ever. |
