Since i re-installed apache 2.2.22 i get the error ModSecurity: APR compiled version="1.4.6"; loaded version="1.4.5"

It looks like i need to re-install mod_security2, i had 1.4.6 running before the re-install, but cant find the setup file now.

PS: Since this is a production server i cant upgrade to the latest version.

Your Apache has 1.4.5 and mod_security is build against 1.4.6.

That is no error, more a warning. No (api)changes for mod_security between 1.4.6 and 1.4.5. So it should work without issues.

Good to hear that the Apache re-install worked.
Please confirm in your other post.

I would prefer to not have that warning in the logs, how do i "fix" it?

PS: I understand its a warning and not an error Smile

Admin,

thank you! but i would not like to upgrade Apache, rather apply a less dramatic fix from the module side, even if it means a downgrade for the module.

Looking for a module-specific fix . . .

I do not understand your worry.

To upgrade to 2.2.24 is same easy then to downgrade mod_security. And is not dramatic.

Stop Apache
Just copy all the files over in 2.2.24 zip except the /config folder
Start Apache

Same number of clicks when downgrading mod_security.
