I sure hope this is the right place to post these questions. I first posted in a reply after the how to but cannot deleted it - sorry

Installed httpd-2.4.18-win64-VC14.zip under Win10 and it works.

I downloaded php7 using VC14 x64 Non Thread Safe and unzipped it to C:\php. Made the modifications php.ini as suggested and to http.conf. php -m produces a list of loaded modules.

Made the changes to httpd.conf to load mod fcgid as indicated in the instructions above. I change all occurrence of php5 to php to reflect the directory in which I place php

Tried to start Apache and it won't start.

Stumped

Questions:

Where is fcgid_module modules/mod_fcgid.so located. I cannot find it the php?

If I decide to use the PHP as a module where do I find php5apache2_4.dll? It isn't in the download of PHP7

There is a step missing in the how to that a novice like me needs.

A sentence indicating that mod_fcgid needs to be downloaded separately and put in the right directory would be helpful

I did add a notice that mod_fcgid is an additional download. if you want to improve the tutorial you are welcome.
