Hello,

I have been looking throughout the apache website seeking the MSI Installer for the 2.2.0 version but I couldn't find it. I have two questions and I was hoping that someone could answer them for me.

1. Why doesn't Apache release the binaries for the 2.2.0 version?
2. Does anyone know where I can find the MSI Installer for it?

I think that they have at ASF a hard job to make the msi installer. This because the changes in 2.2. For example apache.exe is now called httpd.exe, the config files are setup in an other way and some directives are added/different. So to get a msi for people who wants to upgrade from 2.0 it is no that easy.

Nowadays on windows there are free compilers to build the binaries. So maybe they want the same as for Linux: build youself.

I could not find a msi installer either and I am not planning to make one.

You have to wait till they are able to make a msi installer or get the zip binaries.
