The Apache 2.2.3 binary available at the download page here is now build against the latest OpenSSL release 0.9.8d. This new OpenSSL version is a security and bugfix release and incorporates changes and bugfixes to the toolkit.
This release fixes four security vulnerabilities, CVE-2006-2937, CVE-2006-2940, CVE-2006-3738, CVE-2006-4343. See www.openssl.org/news/secadv_20060928.txt
