Hi, ladies and gents
I have an Apache Web Server on Windows XP Pro SP3 and i have a mod_ftp host; but my mod_ftp host doesn't accept files with turkish names. I can't upload these files to server. There is a turkish characters problem. With english characters no problem!
Has anyone an idea?
Thank you for your help!

Ah yes. The problem is that you need to convert to Christianity and then all the characters will display beautifully.
However if the above solution is not acceptable then you may want to check your conf file for character set:
AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
#AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1
Then reload Apache and check your headers.
You may also want to try to disable this directive altogether which if I remember well should then tell the Apache to take the character set from the media type charset parameter.
You may also check directives:
DefaultLanguage
and
LanguagePriority
Here is the list of all character sets http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets/character-sets.xhtml |

Here is another suggestion.
Check you settings in php.ini
Make sure that the mimetype and charset directives are set correctly in php.ini |
