I have:
1. Windows XP
2. Apache 2.2.4
3. PHP 5.2.1

After installing and configuring Apache and PHP, Apache can't start. An error is: Apache is running a threaded MPM, but your PHP Module is not compiled to be threadsafe. You need to recompile PHP. Pre-configuration failed.

Any ideas?
