Topic: apache 2 is Not responding in xp

hi there
I have a wired problem with apache 2 on windows xp
“Apache/2.0.53 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.0.53 OpenSSL/0.9.7e PHP/5.0.3”
Apache 2 was working fine at first I mean 1 year ago
But it’s been 2-3 months that it’s not responding on xp anymore
When i try to load localhost:80 all browsers keep on loading forever
And there is no error in log file
I also changed the Listen 127.0.0.1:80 to 80 in conf ,no hope
I don’t know what caused it and no hope from searching the web for a solution
Hopefully its working on vista
Also I have the same problem in my 2th pc and laptop

today i find this in log file
[Wed Jun 13 05:26:46 2007] [crit] (22)Invalid argument: unable to replace stderr with error_log
[Wed Jun 13 05:26:46 2007] [crit] (2)No such file or directory: unable to replace stderr with /dev/null
So i uninstalled every thing and install the apache2 alone
Those errors are gone but apache steel isn’t working
And this is the new error.log

I know how to do that
I even manage to install every thing on iis
Don’t get me wrong IIS and apache is not on same computer
I install apache successfully but it doesn’t even load a simple htm page
The service is started and browser keeps on loading forever
Have you red my first post?
Even xampp, wamp and those things don’t work
And the funny thing is that I have the same problem on my other 5 xps

You can try to change Listen 80 to Listen 8080
and see http://localhost:8080
Maybe a program is blocking Port 80, but I doubt that, because Apache gives no error about that. Are you using a proxy?
I'm wondering a lot because trying 5 PCs and no working solution.... are these fresh installs or is there any extra protection software on 'em?

80 to 8080 done, nothing no hope same problem
By the way I update the apache2.0.X to 2.2.4
No proxy and no blocking program I have NOD32 as an anti virus
So I disabled that to see if it’s making any problem but no that wasn't
I’ll try to uninstall the anti virus to be 100% sure about that
And try to install a new window and test on that
If none work then I don’t know what to do
You sad proxy I checked my ipaddress from a web based phproxy
And see what i got
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
And I tried with cgi proxy
CGIProxy Error
Couldn't connect to 91.98.18.34:8080: Unknown error

The problem is the god damn NOD32 mo***** anti virus
I uninstalled it and cool every thing is OK
So I’m going to inform the eset co. to fix their anti virus
Is there any thing that I could do for you to show my appreciation?
