I have installed apache and it works fine when accessing it as local host
I canno access it remotely (or from my computer using th IP address)
I have configured the router to forward port 80 to my personal IP and i am trying to access it via the IP address listed on
myIP.com
[edit] the error Im getting when using the IP is unable to connect(as opposed to 404 or something)
when i ping localhost it returns an IP of 127.0.0.1
my routers Parent(or whatever its called) is 148.168.0.1 and my computers IP is 148.168.0.4
so port 80 is forwarding to my computer
i tried to forward to 127.0.0.1 but it wouldnt let me cause it doesnt think it is on the router |

That is a problem configuaration of your router. We can not help you (if we can), if you don't tell us which router are you using.
