Hi I am trying to get write and read permission to my htdocs so I can install a web site it needs both read and write permission I have tried chmod in every way I could fined on the web and worked on the userdir.conf have tried every thing I could fined on the internet but still cant seem to get the write permission to work
please for some read and write code for my userdir.conf  |

chmod sounds like Linux system!

PHP install or something else?
under Windows there shouldn't be a problem. |

Why on windows would the web site that I am installing not need write permission the apache userdir only grants read permission
could it be that I am running Apache with no windows registry
the website is called wordpressmu |

it needs write permission to write the htaccess file in its own dir. so write permission has to be to htdocs dir. |
