How much overhead is there using SSL connection to a normal connection? Any difference using deflate with/without SSL??

Using deflate should always speed up. Less bytes over the network.

Good answer Smile But that there must be a overhead. If I'm using deflate without SSL there should be less traffic. Or am I wrong?
If yes I'd like to know how much that is. Maybe I used the wrong words while gooling to find that out.
