Hello all, I have a problem with my site/server/I dunno lol, I have asked others to enter my domain name, which I have purchased (http://www.pwnage-inc.me.uk/) into their browser address bar to look at my site and they say that the domain name doesn't stay in the address bar and is replaced with my IP address upon accessing the site.

I have set up URL masking by frames on GoDaddy but would like visitors to access pages of my site by actual URLs, without the URL in the address bar remaining constant with each click to a different page. I also have inserted some Javascript into the head section of my HTML to break out of the framing.

All I am trying to acheive is my domain name actually masking my IP address without having to use framed masking and allowing my visitors to access my pages by their actual URLs.

Just for the record I am running A/M/P on a Windows XP box, PHP5 and MySQL5 run perfectly fine.

My server (mis)?configuration is as follows...

Listen 192.168.1.3:80
ServerAdmin no_spam@yahoo.co.uk
ServerName www.pwnage-inc.me.uk:80
ServerRoot "D:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2"
DocumentRoot "D:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs"

My domain name is defined in the Windows HOSTS file as it should be and my unique full computer name (Control Panel>System>Computer Name) is also the same.

Feel free to ask me any other questions regarding my setup.

Many thanks in advance!

I think you server is enought configuratet this work like alias

your ping 86.14.195.73
pwnage-inc.me.uk -> 64.202.189.170

http://whois.domaintools.com/pwnage-inc.me.uk

I think problem its in DNS not in web-svr
When i go to pwnage-inc.me.uk its "redirect 302" to your IP
Yhis is a Domain or some kind of alias ?

"My domain name is defined in the Windows HOSTS file" ->
But not in Global DNS it is only show for you

Try http://www.no-ip.com/
