| I found that my hosting service using apache and PHP can display error messages showing the line of php code that cause a problem.
 But my workstation setup as a localhost using apache and PHP to design web content show a blank page when I bring up a buggy PHP page.

 Is there a configuration or setup that displays error messages for buggy PHP pages that I can use on my workstation to debug?

| Edit your php.ini error_reporting  =  E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE
 That must show all errors for debugging. If not, your scripts block that.
 Than you can set it in your scripts with error_reporting(E_ALL);

 Good luck!
