Hello!

First of all my server is Windows Server 2003 x64

When I use AMF Remoting with Flash under IIS everything works well.
Now I switched from IIS to Apache and the Remoting (Amf Interface) doesn't work anymore.

There always appears the Error
"Error opening URL "xxxxxxx/flashservices/gateway.php""

I switched between IIS and Apache (same Folder, same Permission only difference is Apache/IIS) - on IIS it works, on Apache as described above.

What could be the problem?
Are there any modules or something like that what should be installed in Apache to run AMF correctly?

Thank you! Smile

Thank you for your fast reply!

I included ExecCGI to the Options of my wwwroot in httpd.conf - but
nothing happens.

What else do you mean with permissions?

  • Is the xxxxxxx on your server?
  • if it is on your server: what about the <Directory> permissions
  • Is php allowed to open a URL?

- URL is www.abc.de/flashservices.... - xxx is our Domain with Path
- PHP is also allowed

We installed our Webapplication on IIS (c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\). We now have to disable the IIS Webserver because we have to use PDF Lib wich
doesnt work with 64 Bit (on IIS we have a Php 64bit compiled Version).

Now we installed Apache Webserver with PHP (All 32 Bit).
We installed PHP and cofigured Apache to USe c:\Inetpub\wwwroot as root folder.

The thing is that if we use the AMF Interface with IIS everything works
completly well - after switching off the IIS and turn Apache on, the AMF
Interface doesnt work anymore.
