I tried to edit httpd.conf file. However I wasn't able to save the changes to httpd.conf as the following message was given:
"Cannot create the C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\conf\httpd.conf file
Make sure that the path and the name are correct

Strange later during the night I tried to configure the httpd.conf and it worked. It is possible to save it . Just I dont understand what was the problem.

You get that error because you have no write permission on the file. You have to be on an Admin account to have Admin rights to write/saved the file. So the solution is to give permission to write or you can just open Notepad.exe as Admin and open the file from there. |
