Hey all, i recently installed apache2 on my debian 7 server and thought that sharing stuff via apache2 is simple for other users.
So i put something in www directory with the size of 4~5GB and the other person only downloads with ~200KB per second, so i now i tested it myself at a place where i know the connection can handle 1,4MB's and just like my friend i'm downloading ~200KB per second
So i thought it was my servers connection so i checked it and i was uploading from my server to whatever at a average of 20MB's
My solution was to download the file via ftp (proftpd)which goes with 1,4MB's like it should
So why does this happen does apache2 have a standard speed limit?
EDIT:
When i download multiple files simultaneous via apache2 i can go up to 1,4MB's |

No there is not limit. I had to play with EnableSendfile and EnableMMAP until it ran best for me. |
