I downloaded httpd-2.4.39-win64-VC15.zip from Apache Lounge for a fresh installation on Windows Server 2016 Standard, 64-bit.

The Apache 2.4 Windows Service indicates "2.4.33" in the description, and when I go to the actual httpd.exe file (..\bin\httpd.exe), that too is showing "2.4.33" under Details.

Everything seems to be working fine, but we want to be prepared to answer any questions from the security department.

Why is the 2.4.39 download using 2.4.33 .exe? It's not a big deal, just my expectation was to see 2.4.39. How can I confirm I have the latest and greatest?

The service name is set when you install it and doesn't change unless you uninstall, then reinstall the service.

httpd -v

will show the actual version.
