Hello, I'd like to ask if anyone has used apache 64 bit 2.4.46 or greater with a 64 bit version for Websphere v. 8.5.5.10 or higher. Checking if they are compatible with the Websphere plugins.Thank you.

I dug through my configs and it looks I had tried this. I put the plugin section in Apache config and it worked.
Someone wanted php / Wordpress on same host. We didn't go into production with it.

IBM doesn't support doing this and doesn't guarantee that their next fix pack will break it. They release about every quarter. They also note specifically that taking an Apache module and copying to IBM IHS mod dir will work, but may not work in next version.

You can use nginx to proxy the app servers (and http2 to the client at least):

I had IHS 32 bit so used 32 bit Apache. WAS is of course 64 bit. IHS 32 is pretty fast as it is. I've never seen any sort of performance IHS 32 versus 64.
