ApacheMonitor is a nice tool for seeing that Apache is actually running, even you do not need it for starting Apache, when running Apache as a service.

To make ApacheMonitor start automatically on a Windows Server, do you advise to use Task Scheduler, or perhaps add a shortcut to the startup folder?

ApacheMonitor is an interactive tool, so logically needs to run in a user windows context, rather than a scheduled task.

I'd therefore recommend adding a shortcut to the Start-up menu so the program runs when you logon to the server.

Thank you for the reply.

I found another option, and that is to use windows task scheduler for this.

When creating a new basic task, you can choose "when I log on" as a trigger, and then with "start a program" choose "ApacheMonitor.exe".
