For the php extensions, maybe James Blond (mario) can advise.

It seems that maskego already has minimized the number of php extensions. I wonder why there is a need for exif, but in some projects I use that, too.

Within the loaded apache module I wonder about:

  • imagemap
  • include
  • unique_id

Special mod_unique_id might create higher memory usage. Not fully sure about that, cause I avoided to use it. But from the manual it seems that it might do so.

@staffen:Thank you for your advise.I will find time to try that. It's a live site.I think it's hard to tune apache memory. The start memory is 90MB,and the end of httpd.exe is 5XXMB approximately.I set gracefuly restart every 4 hours.I am so fool at apache.Rolling Eyes

With how many memory does httpd.exe starts and how ends it ?

You did not try the other things I advised ?

You can also try to install Apache plain and use the standard settings.

Pity you do not have a test box. Always you can run a second instance of Apache on an other Port to test.
