Atention, not mentioned there is that Win32DisableAcceptEx is gone in 2.4 and you have to use now:

AcceptFilter http none
AcceptFilter https none

Update:
AcceptFilter https none can give issues with SSL, see below. So comment it out.

On windows it is advised to enable this, to prevent connection hick ups.

Also advised to set:

EnableSendfile Off
EnableMMAP off

I wonder that you need Win32DisableAcceptEx on W2k8r2
I only had that problem on XP, never on 2003 or 2008 or 2008 r2

On Server 2008 R2 SP1, I see the issue when AcceptFliter is not set to non. When I recall, Gregg had it also on Win2008 and had to use AcceptFilter.

That would be weired, since I don't have that issue and Gregg used the same installation DVD as I did.

DVD ?

I can remember that he had the issue. This issue depends on network config, some have the issue and some not. Nobody has and answer so far what is really going on.

So advised to use AcceptFilter and you are sure that you have no issue.

Ja, my 2008 came from a DVD, it also speaks mostly in English and partly in German, Wink but it is not my live server. Being Realtech throughout, I do not know how it would act in that sense.

My live server is on XP, running on a power skimping Atom. But that has that NVidea networking garbage which does have the problem.

I've also found AcceptFilter https none to be problematic. First time you hit a site via https it usually comes up with a blank white nothing. Hitting reload and it comes up proper. It seems you had something similar Steffen? If so, maybe mention again on dev list and I'll reply to it with my experience. I didn't see the problem till I got new certs (since old had expired) and started using https again.
