Ahhh ... I think they are from the same person, so he slipped digits and wrote the wrong one. I'd pf found this out when I was trying to patch 2.3.7 w/ 51020, I just never got that far since it was nearing 3am.

My meaning is that mod_fcgid2.3.6d runs smoothly than mod_fcgid2.3.6-p and mod_fcgid2.3.7 as my testing experience. If that, maybe apachehaus can compile a new mod_fcgid2.3.7 that combine 2.3.7 new features and 2.3.6d good performance.

And,I think kindly...

This issue may causes web page slowly connecton and sendback page as mentioned.

You mean add in #5 & 6 from the list on the prior page? Have you thought it may be possible one of those 2 are what is causing your slow down?

Note: I did some research and have since edited that post.

Here's the rub, and what my edit says, that 51078 is not in 2.3.7, even though the changes files says it is. No, what seems to have transpired is that 50120 (which is in 2.3.6d) is also in 2.3.7 and that 51078 was listed when it should have been listing 50120. Those PRs and patches are by the same person and when wrowe was crediting them in changes he credited the wrong one.

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1213454

Also, the 50309 (in 2.3.6d) is in 2.3.7 as well, I can show you the commits for it. First commit left out one piece, I got on the dev list and pointed it out to make sure the whole patch was committed.

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1234169
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1235115

Now, if I compile 2.3.7-dev, the only thing that will be different between the one I do and the one here is this latest commit to the project 8 hours ago of this writing, and anything that may be added between now and when I have the time to do it.

As far as the one I did, it was just straight out of SVN around noon PST March 2nd. I seriously doubt there can be that much difference unless it is in SP1. If anything, I'd like to see benchmarks showing any difference before I'll believe it Smile

Indeed confusing what Bill did.
Put it back, and removed the post saying that I removed.

Agree, we need a real benchmark.
I hardly can believe that your build versions has no issue. Looks for me more a PHP VC9 issue's, special that it looks like that with PHP 5.2 (VC6) there are no issues. Mod_gcid just spwans/loads one executable, which one does the rest of the PHP loading.

What you mean with ....unless it is in SP1 ?

I use VC 2008 SP1, I looked at one of your downloads (do not remember which) a couple weeks ago and it stated
(I thought) needing the VC 2008 Redist (non-SP1)
