Hello,
I have not yet found a solution to my issue. I have apache installed on a box with 2 nics. I've seen how to force the listener to an IP, but the issue is that this box uses DHCP. Is it possible to lock the listener to a network/subnet or to a specific NIC?
Thanks. |

If your DHCP server supports it you can set an IP to mac adress of a NIC. It is not advised to run 2 NICs in the same subnet (unless you can bundle them to one card). |

Hi James,
Thank you for the response. In all cases, the second NIC is on a span port for sniffing traffic. I've already looked into tieing the IP to the MAC and looks like we'll have to go that route. Was hoping it would be easier to do with Apache due to the number of boxes I have.
Thanks again! |
