Hi,
we run:
Apache 2.4.18 on ubuntu
Mysql
typo3
on:
Vsphere 6.5 virtualized ubuntu 16.04. LTS
24 Core, 16 GB RAM
we have Performance issues, i just need to click around the site and load goes up, apache process are easy 95% cpu. The site feels and is laggy when theres more than one person on it.
Even when Nobody is on it cpu load of apache precesses is around 20-30%
Its either mysql or the apache procs going up in cpu load.
I have tried several things like tweak cache settings and hostlookups but i cant get my hand on it.
What else can/should i do to get to the bottom of this? Ive searched around quite a bit but nothing i found or changed so far made it better.
Im not an expert on this...

It isn't the apache config. It might be the php config, but unlikely.
I think it is the typo3 software you run or it might be something different on the OS itself.
What helped a log of user on apache lounge is to use mod_fcgid to seperate PHP from apache process. Then you will be sure if it is apache or the PHP process that runs amok. |
