I've been looking for information about disabling port 80 since now I'm running port 443.

Would it be ok to disable port 80, since its not being used?

thx

Hi,

It is well indicated in the httpd-ssl.conf file:
Code:
# This is the Apache server configuration file providing SSL support.
# When we also provide SSL we have to listen to the
# standard HTTP port and to the HTTPS port
#

Which, for me, implies that, in addition to having VirtualHosts on port 443, you must also have the same on port 80 in the httpd-vhosts.conf file, so do not disable port 80.
