@jan-e
Hi,
Could you please make your 1.14.2 builds also available like you have done for 1.14.1 and all the other builds before?
Your appveyor project builds are deleted after a month. Could you please publish your latest builds through your phpdev.toolsforresearch.com site?
Thanks,
Sridhar |

Thank you Jan-E. I managed to get the build from your appveyor account before the month ended. I have mentioned before that I have tried to clone your project like you suggested and ran into issues (which I listed, but didn't fix).
As I mentioned in my previous post, it would be great that if you could make available the latest build on your devtoolsforresearch website like you used to do. This will enable people like me (who update only once in a while) to not depend on checking within a month of your latest appveyor build. |

Thank you nono303. In fact, I was very interested in your builds earlier when Jan-E seemed to not have updated one particular major version of svn (possibly quite a while ago). However, the issue is the DLLs. Could I please request you to create a version that links with static libraries of these dependencies? That way, all I should be downloading/installing is 2-3 DLLs (that are the main SVN ones) and not worry about hardlinking, copying, PATH modification etc. |

Hi @sridharb,
My full build chain is based on shared dll, so will not be able to do it statically for svn.
What is the issue for you with shared dll, according to the two possible methods explained here https://github.com/nono303/win-svn#install-on-apache-httpd ? |

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply - log into this forum every few months.
It is just not "clean" to have many DLLs floating around - either linked or copied. Sorry - that's just my personal preference. I do wish that you would consider producing a statically linked version. I do not mind you linking against the dynamic runtime CRT as these are things that we take for granted in an fairly uptodate system (or one can install the redistributables like apachelounge makes us do).
Regards,
Sridhar |
