Hi everyone, I am having trouble understanding and setting up redeliveryPolicy with backOff in ActiveMQ when using it in plain Java. The thing is I have created a producer and a consumer, connected to ActiveMQ and the messages work, when I try to invoke redeliveryPolicy it doesn't work, but if I only use setJMSRedelivered and JMSXDeliveryCount then it works, but there's no way i can enable backOff to work and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I couldn't find examples of redeliveryPolicy and backOff for ActiveMQ on the web for Java and asking for help thus.

it can look like

Quote:
<amq:redeliveryPolicy maximumRedeliveries="20" useExponentialBackOff="true"
initialRedeliveryDelay="5000" backOffMultiplier="2" maximumRedeliveryDelay="600000"/>

for more info see https://activemq.apache.org/components/classic/documentation/redelivery-policy
