I installed apache on windows 2000. My dad got mad at me because he said it was open to intruders. Is there any way I can run it safely, I'm running windows XP now.

I would be more worried about other services windows runs by default.

I've been running apache since 1.3 on window ranging from 2k - XP - 2k3
I have never had any problems with security I do get hit by worms that try to take over IIS but they do nothing on apace Smile
